What Are Steroids?

When most people think of steroids, they are really thinking of anabolic steroids that are used by bodybuilders and other athletes to boost muscle mass and strength. Anabolic steroids are synthetic or man-made chemicals that mimic the male steroid hormone testosterone.

These performance enhancing drugs are used by athletes and bodybuilders because they mimic testosterone’s ability to enhance muscular tissue growth and boost masculine secondary sex characteristics.

Anabolic steroids are used to treat some medical issues, but they are also used illegally in various sports. Some athletes, weightlifters, and bodybuilders utilize them to increase muscle growth, performance, and endurance, as well as to reduce recuperation time between sessions. Anabolic steroids are prohibited in the United States and many other nations.

The truth is anabolic steroids are surprisingly common among bodybuilders and other athletes. As much as 3.3 percent of the global population has used steroids at some point in their lifetime [1].

Unfortunately, anabolic steroids can be very addictive. Approximately 1 million people in the United States is currently suffering from an addiction to performance enhancing drugs [2].

So what’s the problem with anabolic steroids? The problem isn’t that they are effective at boosting muscle mass and strength [3]. The real problem is that they can have major negative effects on the nervous and cardiovascular systems, as well as the liver, urinary system, and reproductive system [4].

Signs Of Steroid Use

How can you tell if someone is on steroids without asking? Steroids, in reality, entail a plethora of adverse effects.

Some of the most prevalent side effects of long-term steroid usage are as follows:

  • Insanely Muscular Physique
  • Crazy Vascular Skin
  • Flushed, Red Skin
  • Extremely Low Body Fat
  • Massive / Square Deltoids

Let’s take a closer look at each of these side effects.

Many steroid users are extremely lean with very vascular skin. This means they have large veins that popping off their skin all over their body! Steroids are very effective at burning body fat and increasing blood flow, so it makes sense that many steroid users would have this appearance.

Many anabolic steroid users also have incredibly large, square deltoids. This is common because the deltoid muscles have a large number of androgen receptors. When someone starts taking steroids, their shoulders often grow much faster than the rest of their body.

Other common side effects include an insanely muscular physique, red / flushed skin, and even a large, round head.

These signs do not automatically mean that someone is using steroids. However, they are definitely some of the most common side effects of long-term steroid use.

Is Tristyn Lee On Steroids?

Is Tristyn Lee really natural? Or did he use anabolic steroids to go beyond his natural limits and take his physique to the next level? Let’s look at the facts before jumping to any conclusions.

Tristyn Lee has the following signs of long-term steroid use:

  • Completely Shredded
  • Insanely Muscular
  • Crazy Recovery Ability
  • Ludicrous Strength

Tristyn Lee is able to stay completely shredded year-round. In fact, Tristyn brags that he is able to stay at 5% body fat 365 days per year! This is absolutely crazy, and by far the biggest sign that he might be using steroids.

Tristyn doesn’t seem to have a hard time doing it, either. Most natural bodybuilders find that their testosterone and energy levels drop when they get this lean. But Tristyn still gets in great workouts year-round at this body fat level.

Another big sign that Tristyn Lee might be using steroids is his insanely muscular physique. Just look at his massive legs, shoulders and upper back!

To me, the craziest things about Tristyn Lee are his recovery ability and his super-human strength. Tristyn works out 1-2 times per day, 6 days per week. It is virtually impossible for most natural bodybuilders to recover from this kind of workload, but once again, Tristyn makes it look like a walk in the park.

Tristyn is also unbelievably strong. He’s only 125 pounds, but he can incline press the 100 pound dumbbells like it’s nothing! Is it really possible to get this strong without using drugs? I’m not so sure.

To be fair, Tristyn Lee has always denied using steroids. Here is his reaction to one of his followers accusing him of using gear:

“If you’re wondering if I’m natural – look at me train and then make your decision, because if I’m up at 5 am to train, eating properly, then going to school, then going to the gym after school and after that going to team soccer training….

I really shouldn’t look average or the same as others do. Thank you to all the people who have supported me on my come up I really appreciate it!”

So what’s the verdict? Is Tristyn Lee on steroids? It’s hard to say for sure, but I think the odds are very high that Tristyn Lee has used anabolic steroids to maintain his unbelievable physique.

The “smoking gun” is the fact that he can stay at 5% body fat year-round and maintain optimal energy levels.

Most natural bodybuilders have a hard time staying this lean for just a few weeks at a time, as their hormone levels start to plumet. But Tristyn doesn’t have any problem staying this lean.

Perhaps it’s because he’s supplementing his body’s natural testosterone production with anabolic steroids?

Tristyn Lee Before And After Steroids

Trystin Lee has many of the usual signs of long-term steroid use, such as an insanely ripped physique and extreme vascularity. But did he always look this way?

The truth is, Tristyn Lee has always been something of a genetic marvel. Even when he was just 12 years old Tristyn had a ridiculously lean physique, complete with visible abs and impressive muscles.

Of course, his physique went to the next level when he started getting serious about training and nutrition. Today Tristyn walks around at 5% body fat year-round, something that is almost unheard of for a natural bodybuilder.

Is his rapid body transformation another sign that he might be using anabolic steroids? We think the answer is “yes,” but it’s hard to know for sure.

Legal Steroid Alternatives?

It’s possible that Tristyn Lee uses anabolic steroids to maintain his incredibly lean physique. But that doesn’t mean they are a good idea for most people.

Anabolic steroids have many dangerous side effects, and can cause long-term damage to your heart, liver, kidneys, and many other organs. They also cause extreme changes in your hormone levels.

Fortunately, there are legal products that you can use to get similar results to steroids, but without any of the harsh side effects.

One of the most popular “legal steroid alternatives” is called ecdysterone.

Ecdysterone is a natural substance found in spinach, quinoa and many other plants. Researchers have been studying ecdysterone for decades, but the most important studies were published in the last few years.

Specifically, researchers found that ecdysterone has the potential to raise muscle protein synthesis levels up to 20% in humans [5]! It also has the potential to work as well as, or better than many anabolic steroids, such as dianabol [6].

Best of all, ecdysterone has zero long-term side effects in humans. All you have to do to get the muscle-building benefits of ecdysterone is take one pill per day at the recommended dosage of 500 mg.

There are many companies selling ecdysterone over the internet, but our favorite one is called Huge Supplements. They manufacture their own products right here in the United States in FDA-approved facilities, so you know you are getting the highest quality product.

Testosterone Therapy vs. Steroids

Testosterone replacement therapy is one of the most exciting developments in men’s health. It is a safe and effective way for men with low T to optimize their testosterone levels.

Most men on TRT have total testosterone levels between 800 – 1200 ng / dl, which is right at the upper end of the normal, healthy range. This is important, as men with optimized testosterone levels experience many benefits, including improved mental health, increased energy levels, and improved performance in the bedroom [7, 8, 9].

It’s no wonder this breakthrough technology has become so popular in recent years.

If you are interested in getting started with testosterone replacement therapy, then we strongly recommend the online TRT provider Fountain TRT. Founded by a board certified urologist, this company has a ton of experience helping men like you get the prescription testosterone medication they deserve.

Tristyn Lee And Steroids | Verdict

What’s the verdict – does Tristyn Lee use steroids?

We believe the odds are very high that Tristyn Lee uses anabolic steroids to maintain his incredible physique.

The biggest sign that he is on gear is his incredibly shredded physique.

Tristyn is around 5% body fat year-round! This is virtually impossible for a drug-free athlete, as most people find their testosterone levels crash when they stay too lean for too long.

Tristyn Lee can deny using steroids all he wants, but that doesn’t change the fact that he is probably using performance enhancing drugs.
